I just got the GDP360 adapter, and it finally works!!!!

Woooo thanks I also got the sound to work with the GDP360 adapter. I've tried 2 diffrent adapters, one that said it had sound, but GDP360 adapter first one to work for me so recommand that to all : ). thanks again.

Thank YOU. Worked for me although not exactly as you described. I have Probook 6440b with Win XP. Under step 5., I had IDT and "Intel Display Audio Output 3" but no HDMI. I switched to Intel Display Audio Output 3 and Apply, the audio switched from PC to monitor speakers right away. The weird thing is that I then switched back to IDT, the audio stayed with Monitor speakers. Don't know why, but don't really care.

I dont get it to work on my 5310 with W7. Today the support says that the 5310 displayport dont support audio???

In the sound settings it says "Digital Audio not connected"

 

Is there any W7 user that succeded with this issue?
