Hello, I have connected HP Compaq LA2405wg through VGA cable to HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station Rev V1.00 and there is no possibility to change display resolution to 1920x1200. Highest possibility is 1920x1080. The resolution works if I connect it directly to my notebook. What should be done?

Some Docking station drivers/firmware?

Thank you.

Hi, thanks for reply but the firmware upade does not work.

I get an error "Can't connect to Synaptics VMMxxxx DP hub IC".

I might have a different HW version. I have also tried to find and install different update versions but nothing worked.

It is also possible that I am just not able to update it as I maight not have sufficient rights...

My docking station Serial number is D9Y32AA and Product number 5CG509XG07. There is also  lable with Rev. V1.00 if it helps.

Notebook is HP EliteBook 745 G2

Thanks in advance for any other advice.

In this case , Could you update the unit BIOS and try updating the firmware

Also make sure that the unit is docked while updating the firmware .

Also you can try installing the diffrent version of the dock firmware .

You can find the diffrent versions in the revision history (On the
