Hi @tbuddhika ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. It is a great site for information and questions. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion g7-1338dx Notebook and concerns with Bluetooth.
To ensure giving the correct information on what was installed on your Notebook, I would need the serial number. Please review the HP Privacy Statement . Then send it to me in a private message. If you are not sure how to check your forum messages, this post has instructions.
Thanks.

Ralink RT3090BC4 802.11b/g/n 1×1
WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Combo
Adapter (BT3.0+HS ready) (testing now)
seen in my neighbor g7-1139wm LT, Intel processor.
the BC8 verson too may work.
Ralink 5390GN 802.11b/g/n 1×1 (just blew one up)
WiFi Adapter ( sans tooth)
Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1×1
WiFi and 2070 Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
Combo adapter (BT3.0+HS ready)
"593836-001 Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi Adapter for use only on computer models equipped
with an AMD processor"
the tricky part is Itel and amd rule sets on these plug-ins
the service manual , has all this (free) and the correct partnumber
good advice using the HP p/n is best.
