HP are disgusting for not suppling windows 7 drivers. Windows 8 Is only 6% of the market. Windows 7 is 47% Crapple is still only a pathatic 8% and for **bleep** good reason

I am trying to do the exact same thing for my mother who is up in years, and ran into the same problem. I am still running into trouble with the laptop dislpay being reconginized as a laptop screen, and I can't seem to find the drivers for the F-key's and associated shortucts, i.e. brightness, etc. Did you have any success and getthing these to work? A list of where you got the drivers so that I may confirm would be greatly appriciated. Thank you. Doc

i found the answer after searching all dam day this is a link to amd catalys program i know you tried but this one actually works like well i had same prob on same pc and now its fixed http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64                      thats it download and run the first option and u will be a ok 🙂
