I recently purchased HP Probook 4540s with Linux but installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Now I have installed most of the drivers except these:

As far as windows 8...No drivers will be listed for those notebooks that will be supported under windows 8 no earlier than the 26th of October.

I do not work for HP, so I cannot say for sure.  My understanding is that W8 drivers will be available on the HP support site after windows 8 is available to the public for sale which is no sooner than October 26th.
