Hello Paul,

 

I can't find the specific way to download the win 8 drivers .

"Downloads for this product are not available through this website. Please contact your local HP representative for information on the specific update methods available for this product."

 

What does this mean? Please Help..

I don't know what that means unfortunatley, other than there are no W8 drivers available for download yet or maybe never.

 

I suggest you do what it says.

 

I don't work for HP.

I've just reinstalled my OS and after installing some drivers I still have 2 devices with yellow ! mark in the device manager. Could somebody please advice me, what drivers I should download for there:

Hi

I have installed Windows 8 Professional, 32bit in my HP Probook 4530s. I am having problems with drivers of Bluetooth and HP ProtectRools Security Manager.

 

Bluetooth Problem:

I have tried with the "Realtek Motorola BC8 Bluetooth 3.0+HS Adapter" driver. Just after installation just I can detect my Laptop from my mobile phone. But the device does not works properly.

Bluetooth Hardware ID:

HP ProtectRools Security Manager:

I have installed the Figure print driver. But when I have installed the HP ProtectRools Security Manager, everything works properly. I can enroll my figure print and the password. But when I restart, at the time of login a blue screen blinks. As the blue screen blink continues, I cannot get into my desktop (cannot log in).

 

My Fingerprint Hardware ID:

USB\VID_138A&PID_003C&REV_0086
USB\VID_138A&PID_003C
I have installed Validity Sensor (VFS471) driver

 

Anyone please help me to solve the problems and any support from the HP experts.

You may want to try the PT security manager software for W8 from the 4540s.

I can't help you with the bluetooth as there are no W8 drivers for it that I could find.

Thank a lot for your reply. The driver you mentioned for HP ProtectTools Security Manager is compatible with my laptop HP Probook 4530s (Windows 😎 device also. The security manager runs fine.
