Howdy,

I have a newish HP ENVY h8xt.  Ever since I got it the WLAN disconnects, not super often, but often enough.  I cannot for the life of me find where I can download the newest drivers for my LAN card and hopefully solve this annoying issue.

From device manager ...

Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2x2 Wi-Fi Adapter

Can someone please point me in the right direction? Also maybe offer any tips to prevent this?  Windows 8 here BTW.

Thanks in advance! Please help!

PS. These are the ones I have found but they are over a year old.

PPS. I used Windows update to get a driver for this dated 5/23/2013 but I am still experiencing the problem of it cutting out every few hours.

I will give it a try.

May I ask what page links to that? Like is there a page with all drivers from my broadcom wireless LAN device listed somewhere?

Thanks again very much for your help.

Yes that is the page for that one release for the driver. Is there a page that lists all of the releases for this WLAN device?

I am only asking to I can "learn to fish" for this and future reference!

HP Recommended

No, but all the driver updates get linked to your product drivers page mostly. I was also searching for the latest broadcom drivers after a date that is most recent.

Mine has been resolved. Turns out the drivers for the 850 G1 worked perfectly for the 215 G1.
