Hello,

I'm having the same issue identified here, which it sounds like you sent a private message to somebody to help fix:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Wireless-and-Networking/Internet-Connection-drops-unexpectedl....

In particular, we get this Internet connection message fairly routinely.  I can run the troubleshooter directly in Google Chrome, and it re-establishes an IP address for me, but it's an inconvenience to have to do.  Also, the troubleshooter isn't an option in Mozilla Firefox, which is a pain for my wife, who uses that browser and faces similar issues.  Any help you can provide to help us solve this issue would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi

An IP address is usually given out by your router,  mine is given out for a 24 hr period and is usually the same each day.

I don't know what troubleshooter you run, since you don't mention it.

However if the fix is a DNS IP address Issue............

So what/which IP address is failing?

What is the fix you run?

The fix I run is whatever the default troubleshooter provided via Google Chrome.

I'm not sure how I identify which IP address is failing.

Hi

Sorry cannot really help, as the Google Chrome troubleshooter may be available online only.

You haven't given a link or any specific details.
