Dear all,

I have a brand new zbook 14 running Windows 8.1

When I press ESC, hp system information window opens. To get ESC funtionality i need to press FN+ESC. How can I change that behavior?

Thank you very much
Roger

I don't have a Zbook.

However, you might want to look in your systems BIOS for a function key setting.

I have a Probook 4540S that allows you to change the behavior of those function/special purpose keys.

The non-standard ESC key action is a rediculous feature. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.  I just bought a ZBook 17 and the machine is NOT user friendly. Among other things, the video playback adjustments are convoluted and crippled. I am very dissapointeed at the "straight jacket" approach to corporate conformity that HP has take with the ZBook line. This model is best suited for people who need nothing more than a simple workstation.  I expected better. My bad.
