Hello.
I have EliteBook 8470P and I'm going to recovery it to factory settings. There are Windows 7 label on laptop. I do not have recovery DVD. There is no recovery partition. So how do I recover the laptop?

You have to get your hands on a copy of a Windows 7 OEM disk that is of the same version as yours (likely 64 bit Home Premium). Microsoft used to have a site where you could download a disk image of each version of Windows 7 but they took it down quite a while ago now. There are several places on the internet that maintain mirrors of those old sites, but copyright forbids me to link you to them directly.
You need to look for X17-58997.iso assuming you have 64 bit Home Premium English.
Be careful. Since you have to get them from unofficial places the downloads could be infected.
Also, since yours is a business laptop HP tends to stock recovery disks for a longer time. You might contact HP and see if they can ship you a factory restore disk.

Dear Customer,
If there is no recovery partition , there is no way f11 recovery will work .
Also downloading from internet might not always work
However, you could contact HP technical support to get a recovery media.
You could contact Elite Support at :
