I need to replace the SSD on my HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 because it stopped working.

Do you know if the Samsung 850 EVO M.2 250GB (MZ-N5E250BW) is compatible? Or can you tell me which SSD are compatible?

Do you mean that's my only option? For that price I should get a new laptop.

According to this website the ones with size 2280 are compatible. Should I check anything else besides size to see if they are compatible?
