@erico wrote:According to the Kingston Memory search that I did, It seems that only the following memory modules are guaranteed compatible to your notebook. Note the part numbers and the Important section to the upper right. Where did you find the part numbers for the ones that you bought?
I find the part number from the Memory Packaging Box. It turns out to be the same as detected in the CPU-Z, right?
By the way, here is the memory i bought and installed on both slot: http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR16LS11_4.pdf
According to the documentation, the modules i have (KVR16LS11/4) is the same in term of specification with the KTH-X3CL/4G as you shown above.

By the way, i don't really understand the phrase:
"MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode."
Does it means i have to order 2x4Gb at once and stated to them that i want dual channel mode to be activated so that they can rearrange the chip? or i can buy 2 module at a time and installed at 2 separate time and the dual channel mode is still can be enabled?
In fact now i have the two modules installed, the same part number, but no dual channel mode.

What you don't seem to understand is that it is not so much the specification that is impoprtant.
When a memory manufacturer states that their memory product is guaranteed compatible it means that they have tested it in their quality assurance laboratory before guaranteeing that it will do as they state that it will.
The part number on the one you have is not the same as the modules that Kingston states is compatible with your HP x360 `13-a series notebook.

In the other word, the original modules that comes with my laptop is the one that is also fully compatible with the laptop, isn't it?
And if i can get the other original memory from local HP store with the same part number, the dual channel will work, won't it?

It means that you need to order a pair of the same part number from a vendor who sells the guaranteed compatible memory modules.
The ones you have are not listed as being guaranteed compatible on the manufacturer's website memory search utility.

If you did manage to get another module identical to the original that would run in dual channel. We have also had someone suggest on your other thread that CPU-Z is not a reliable indicator of whether the memory is in dual channel mode. I generally like CPU-Z but you may want to try another diagnostic program.

My x360 is now being examined in local hp service centre. I will report back as i get it back.
