HP Pavilion G6 1210tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I know this is an older laptop, but with the "Realtek PCIe GBE family" controller, I can see in Windows 10 that WOL is supported by this controller.

In the BIOS however (firmware version F.66), there isn't a clear "Enable WOL" option.

Does my notebook support WOL?

Hey @Yabbie,

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome.

I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion g6-1210tx Notebook and wanting using a Wake-on-Lan. Wake-on-LAN doesn't work over Wi-Fi. You can only wake up devices that have a Ethernet connection and is always on.

You could try this fix- Windows Key button and the R button simultaneously, Type in the word cmd, now type powercfg -availablesleepstates. Here is a link to Microsoft that might help.

Hope this helps you out.
