EliteBook 850 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to perform a BIOS update on a notebook type EliteBook 850 G7 via USB stick. BIOS update was downloaded and the stick created via exe. Unfortunately, I now always get an error that he cannot find the BIN file. BIN file is stored in the folder \ HP \ DEVFW and is called Firmware.bin. Nevertheless it always asks for the folder EFI \ HP \ BIOS \ New folder. Copying the BIN file into this folder does not provide a solution either. who can help me here? Thank you very much.

Hello

I already heard about such kind of issue but I never seen it. so I can't provide a solution for BIOS update from USB stick but there are a lot of other ways you can do it.

at the end , all methods copy the BIOS bin file on Windows 10 EFI partition, then trigger the BIOS to update it at next reboot.

Do you need suggestion about the other ways to perform a BIOS update ?

bye
