@la_liz12
Your model has Win 7 drivers & software posted. Have you downloaded the Multimedia software for the webcam from your model specific page?

I have a HP-Compaq Presario CQ42-320CA Laptop with Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I would like to Change the Operation System (OS) to Win 7 Professional 32-bit. I installed the OS for several times with a failure. The report is as the following: “windows could not set the offline locale information. Error code: 0x80000001”.
Could you please kindly give some advice on how to solve this problem? Thanks!

Thanks CherylG and Rakhmad Siregar
Your information was quite usefull, was able to restore Quickplay and Ricoh card reader. Still trying to find a solution for the coprosessor.
I have an HP dv2815nr with a Nvidia GO7150M graphics card, (I just updated from Vista to Win 7) the posted solutions did not work, now I am downloading the drivers from Nvidia WEB site for this graphics card and will try to see if it works, any further recomendations?
I also need the Cyberlink DVD suite, were can I donwload it from?
Do you recommend an online system scanner (uniblue system scanner) to determine which drivers need to be updated?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
GFG

@gfranco
Models Level 2. of this guide is the section that has drivers for your model. nVidia Chipset here should take care of coprocessor.
I don't think HP has a download for Cyberlink DVD Suite.If you still have the original folder "Swsetup" on your hdd, it has the installer for Cyberlink.
I do not recommend online scanners for updating drivers in general and laptops in particular.I have seen them mess up a good installation too many times.

@pm307
I have seen this error attributed to a bad hdd on several occasions. Enter BIOS by tapping F10 key at power on.Use Diagnostics to test your hdd.

Hi CherlyG
Coprocessor issue fixed. Noted your advice on online scanners. What do you recommend for checking system and fixing problems?
in my partition D I have an image of the system as it came when purchased, files there are hidden, can I still have access to SWSETUP for the Cyberlink DVD suite? or just in stall any other program for burning CD / DVD? Which.
thank in advance
Gian Franco
