I bought the HP 3005pr USB3.0 Port Replicator and tried to install the following driver software for windows 10:
But I get always the following message:
"A previous uninstall of HP Port Replicator Software is not yet complete. Please reboot your computer and run this installer again to installation."
After reboot I get the same message.
I have a HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC and made an upgrade from Windows 8.1 to 10 Home Edition.
What should I do next?

Hi @Man_Lack,
Welcome to the HP Forums!:smileyhappy:
It is a wonderful place to find answers and tips!
For you to have the best experience in the HP forum I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide.
i grasp you are unable to install the updated driver for the HP 3005 port replicator for Windows 10. When you attempt the installation you get a message that the uninstall is not complete and to reboot your system. After rebooting your system and retrying you get the same message again.
If you check Task Manager do you see the uninstaller listed or an unresponsive program. If so you could try force quiting it.
Have you tried running the Windows troubleshooter to overcome this issue.
You could also try installing it in safe mode. HP PCs - Windows Safe Mode (Windows 10, 😎

Hi
I solved the same issue by uninstalling the DisplayLink software and then install the port replicator driver again. You cans ee how I did it here: https://networksandrants.wordpress.com/2015/10/26/problems-with-hp-port-replicator-3005pr/
