My 2 year old hp 430 laptop does not turn on at times.  When this happenes I disconnect the power cord, take out the battery, plug  in the power cord and then insert the battery. This technique works some times, but not always. It may turn on if I repeat this couple of times. There is no luck without the battery as well.

Have you experts came across this issue before? If yes, please suggest a permanent solution to fix this.

Regards,

Hi,

This might work, try doing a hard reset first before calling support.

Hard reset:

1. Remove the battery and unplug the DC power adapter.
2. Press and hold the power button for more than fifteen seconds.
3. Plug in DC power adapter (leave the battery out for now), then press the power button.

Hope this works.

Cheers,
