The card is b/g/n only.  I don't have a 5MHz signal, nor do I detect one from my dual-band router.  However, it does work in my computer.  Am I wrong here???  At the minimum, at least I now have a wireless backup.  HP DV7qte-6000 laptop.

Hi, Richard:

I don't know what to say.

I did find out that my card was not the 4313 but the ABGN 4321. I wonder if that makes a difference?

I had a Linksys E2000 dual band router. With that router you can only transmit on either the 2.4 GHz band or the 5.0 GHz band.

I'm thinking that since wireless A uses the 5 GHz band then the N should also use both the 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz band, but maybe I'm wrong on that particular model card.

So, just to test the card, I selected the 5.0 GHz band only and it connected right up.

Put your 5 GHz setting on mixed instead of N only, and see if you pick up the card on the 5 Ghz band. If you do then unfortunately, that card is just A only and not A/N 5 GHz.
