I am having this problem as well. I am using Vista Business 32 bits and my network adapter shows Real RTL8186/811 Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS6.0). It says my driver is not installed correctly.
Kindly advise.

i also had same problem with my hp 630 i3 with windows 7 professional 64 bit.... My wifi is not working when i press f12 wifi button the button light remains red insted of getting white ... My laptop PCIs driver is all ready installed but when i tried to install wifi driver the installation get closed at starting... Please help me to solve the problem...
