Hi I am also thinking about doing the K2100M upgrade but theres a few things I'm wondering about,

If I install the K2100M and flash the video bios and for some reason my laptop doesn't work afterwards or it proves to be unstable/unreliable. What is required to revert back again? Is it enough to just physically reinstall the K1000M card for it to work again as before? Or is anything else changed by the attempted upgrade, for example; does the flashing change anything else on the motherboard?

Also most forum threads conserning the upgrade refer to video bios version 80.06.69.00.06. Is this specific version required or will the 80.06.68.00.03 version video bios for K2100M on techpowerup.com also work?

Thanks 🙂
