HP Chromebook 11 hard drive removal

Hi there,

I have a Chromebook 11 and need to replace the hardrive but the life of me I can't figure out where the heck the hard drive is nor can i find a manual on how to open the darn thing up.

Can anyone assist?

Hi,

I don't know what is your machine (must be 11-something) BUT nearly all of them don't have HDD, they only have eMMC storage

Ah got ya, so as far as getting the data off it or wiping it for security reasons to sell for parts I'm SOL since the darn thing won't power on.... 😞

Hm...you mean the little "chevron" downward pointing half arrow, by the Reply button. Yes I've tried that and I get things like Mark as New, Subscribe, Report Innappropriate Contact...

Any other ideas?
