Product: HP Chromebook 14-Q000ED
Operating System: Chrome OS

Hi,

 

Does the HP Chromebook 14-Q000ED model support Wifi on 5Ghz? (I know 2,4Ghz is supported but how is this in 5Ghz mode?)

 

Documentation found online is not conclusive on this...

This model has the wireless specification 802.11a/b/g/n (2x2), which supports only 2.4Ghz. 

Wireless speed 5GHz is not supported.

Hi,

 

sorry to say, but I am afraid this information is not correct. I managed to setup a 5Ghz Wifi network and let my Chromebook perform a search to available Wifi networks - It found the 5Ghz network and connected to it successfully!

 

So, 5Ghz Wifi is supported on my model Q000ED
