Elite Book 840 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Following a fresh install of Windows 10 (64 Bit) I have no sound on the laptop.  The product code for the machine is G1 H5G26ET#ABU. See below for symptoms and actions taken so far

Symptoms

- No sound from laptop

-When i click on the sound icon on the taskbar the detect problems dialog box open up. It is unable to fix the issue

- If i right click on the sound icon and choose properties i only have options for HDMI Audio.

- The keyboard button to toggle sound on/off (top right of keyboard) isn't functioning

I have tried the following

- Reinstalled windows 10, Fresh install

- Installed HP Support assistant and upgraded all drivers

- Manually updated all drivers from website

- Upgraded Bios to latest version

- Uninstalled devices in device manager (AMD High Definition Audio Device, Audi Device on HIgh Definition Audio Bus) and rebooted machine

- Checked Audio is enabled in the BIOS

- Run systems check in BIOS

Cheers for the assistance. Had to download the drivers from the windows 8.1 support page. Looks like they are missing from the Windows 10 page.
