I previously removed the RAID from the 32GB SSD so that I could use a 128GB SSD drive for the OS, now that I no longer have the 128GB I wish to revert back to the 32GB and enable intel SRT.. unfortunately, I can't seem to be able to access the raid controller screen... There is no prompt to press Ctrl + I like there used to be..

How to I re-renable raid on my SSD?

Problem fixed.. apparantly for that controller windows 8.1 is unable to properly interact with it...

To fix it: Install windows 8.. setup RAID, then with it still active, install windows 8.1

Have you checked in BIOS to be sure Intel SRT is enabled? You might also try disabling Secure Boot, Save & Exit. Then do a complete shutdown, restart to see if prompt appears for Crtl + I.

Hi:

Please see if the info in this article is of help to you.  While it is for a different model, the procedure should be the same.
