HP Elite USB-C Docking station
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have just received an HP Elite USB-C Docking station. I've gone through all the configuration steps, installing the software provided with the docking station, then upgrading to the last available software (and firmware) on the HP Support site.

I could connect via ethernet only after a few reboots, and for a few minutes, then the ethernet device just says "Network cable unplugged". I tried with different cables, but I can't manage to connect again. The same cable(s) work flawlessly with an USB adapter and through another docking station (from another manufacturer).

Please tell me if there's anything different I can try, or if I have to return the docking station.

Sounds like a flaky NIC port on the dock. 😞

Sorry.

Get them to replace it.
