HP Elite x2 1011 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knew what buses (USB/SATA/PCIe/etc etc ) were available on each of the M.2 expansion slots in an HP Elite X2 1011 G1 2 in 1 tablet?

1) M.2 slot keyed "A"  3030  -Currently populated by wifi/BT Combo card.

2) M.2 slot keyed "B" 3042   - Currently unpopulated.

3) M.2 Slot keyed "B" 2280   - Currently populated by 128GB Sata 3 SSD.

Wanting to see if a second SSD can be installed in vacant M.2 slot

Thank you for any info.

Hello @Tanknz,

Welcome to FORUM !!!

I checked and found, 1 M.2 is for W/LAN, 2nd is for W/WAN and 3rd is for SSD.

I believe another SSD will not fit in the place of the 2nd m.2 Slot as the place is small and alloted for W/WAN module.
