Hello all,
I post a new topic as I can't find a solution on others to get the wifi functioning properly on our business Laptop 840 G3.
I have20 Laptops EliteBook 840 G3 runing on Windows 7 Entreprise 64 Bits.
I deployed our enterprise image with SCCM.
They all working fine but sometime, after waking up from Hibernate or Sleep Mode, Wifi stop working (it can't detect any wifi but the device is on, wifi button is on as well) and the only solution to get it back working is to disable/enable the device. Note that is not happening after all wake-up, it's more like
I tried to :
- Install the lastest wireless card driver
- Update the HP support Hotkey
- Use another driver version
- Update the BIOS ver / Rollback the BIOS ver
- Disable bluetooth
- Reset Winsock
- Activate the LAN/VLAN auto switching from BIOS
Nothing worked fine...
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
try this setting change
In the Device Manager window, expand Network Adapters and look for your WiFi driver, do a right click over it, select Properties.
3. In the property sheet, switch to Power Management tab and uncheck the option Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Click OK.
