Product: HP ENVY - 17t-bw000 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

When opening my HP Envy laptop  the hinge failed such that it is difficult/impossible to open and close the laptop. The device is still functional but the laptop won't open and close (turning the laptop into a desktop)

 

This issue is similar to the following:

The laptop is out of warranty.
