How do I access the Pause key on my Envy 2. It is shown on the rigt-hand shift key, but I cannot find any key combination to produce a pause. I need this when programming in Visual Studio.

I have found the key combination: It is Fn + right-shift for "Pause" and Ctrl + Fn + right-shift for "Break".

Hi StephenD2014,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP ENVY x2 and not able to find the pause button. It shows me that you should have a Pause/break button on this laptop. If not could you please include your model number here is a link to show you how to get your model number.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

The key marked fn (bottom left on Envy 2). It causes the top row of keys to perform special functions determined by the application you are running, instead of the default functions indicated by the symbols.
It also causes the navigation keys (bottom right) and right-shift key to perform the operations indicated by the text written on those keys.
