Hi,

In that case, restart the notebook and make sure that the 'halt code' you've posted is correct.

Hi David,

Don't mind! The provided pass is working fine, it was a keyboard issue. Thank you very much.

Hi,

I have the same problem. The Halt Code is 85622912. It's an Envy X2, with a serial number of 4CN315B62Q.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Thanks David.

That's the same code that I got last year when I had the same issue with the same laptop. It didn't work that time, so I don't expect it will work this time either.

I'll have to restore the bios again I think!

Thanks anyway!

Hi,

If it worked before, then it's probably the easiest option - I've seen this before with a few X2 models and in a couple of cases, the code works if entered with another keyboard.

Like, attach a USB keyboard?

Hi,

Yes, it's worth a try - it worked on a split 13t.
