I am getting the same error message about the battery on the Envy X2 when I power up the laptop. I have run the battery tests, and both batteries do pass, but the error message continues, although it doesn't appear on every startup. I got my Envy in May, about the same time as the other contact. I don't want to wait until warranty runs out to find out I need to replace a battery, but since the test shows they pass, what options do I have or what action should I take?

I would suggest you call the HP Technical Support as they would be able to help you better and try other steps to identify the issue.
