Hi Kngroo,

 I did not resolve my problem.  

Unfortunately I damaged my lcd screen by leaving the mouse on top of the keyboard , closing the lid then putting a heavy book on it all !! I decided to buy a new computer. The hard drive was taken out of the HP and was found to be working so it was used to transfer data to the new computer.

Hi. I have also encountered this exact same problem. Upgraded to Windows 10. Worked fine for a while. Switched off the laptop and now just has black screen on launch. White led light, flash of dvd drive led and orange wifi led... Any ideas?. Tried holding power button and trying without battery
