Can you tell me why my HP computer won't accept or install the HP multimedia software for win 7 64-bit laptop. I have a dv-8 HP Pavilion Entertainment PC and I would love to have mediasmart installed on my computer.:smileyhappy: Thank you

Hi everyone

I had a problem with my HP media smart....so i proceeded to uninstall all the MS components one by one and re-installed them one by one from the the solution given here and everything worked perfectly. Thanks

When trying to install each HP MediaSmart  software I receive message "1628:  Failed to complete installation."  Please help. How do resolve this so MediaSmart can loaded.  Thanks
