My problem may be different than everyone's.. I'm locked out of this netbook., I can't remmy users user password. Is there a way to reset it without losing everything?

It will not work for Windows login password.

The password I need to either recover or reset is the one for my user account. I'm the only administrator on this computer but haven't used it in 3+ years so I have no idea what the pw might be.. Do you have any advice on retrieving it or resetting it?

Hello,

I am one of these folks that also can't remember the password.  My laptop has died and I am forced to use my mini again after several years until the laptop is fixed.   Does this just get me into the mini or does it re-set the computer?
