Thank you so much EDWMAX, I registered just to say thank you, this is a God sent. it totally changed my appreciationf ro the Mini, just ordered the new 14" Chromebook with 4gb 4g T-Mobile  a whooping 9 hours on the battery which reminds me how good the Mini is with batteries.

FOR THE NOVICES LIKE ME, DO NOT TRY TO FIND THE SECTION EdWMax mentioned on # 4 yourself, just like he said cut and paste in the search input and let it happen, it does take a while, be patient.

Re: HP Mini screen resolution [ New ]

I have a HP Mini 110-3500 running Windows 7   ... the max. screen resolution selectable is 1024 x 600.   I found that  .....

1) Run regedit
1a) If you are not on higest tree level by clicking on “Computer” from key tree
2) Search and modify all values “Display1_DownScalingSupported” from “0″ to “1″
3) Restart the system
4) Enjoy the two new resolutions: 1024×768 px and 1152×864 px

I can now easly change to higher resolutions when needed and back to 1024 x 600 for general use.    ...

hello, I already figure out on how to increase my resolution to 1024x768

but well, now I need some advice to increase it from 1024x768 to 1280x720 or above

There's 1 application that won't run if the screen resolution is not 1280x720 and I badly want to run it,.

We all know that if we do this “Display1_DownScalingSupported” from “0″ to “1″ it will increase the resolution to 1024x768 so I changed it again from "1" to "2" hoping that it'll change my resolution to 1280x720 but its really a bad idea when I restart my computer it did turn on but the screen turn blue, luckily I can fix it but that doesn't solved the problem, so if there's someone out there that have some advice please let me know this application is really mean everything to me.

I can't find it either.. I Searched in the search bar but it don't find anything.. Do i have to delete  the "_" on the "Display1_DownScalingSupported"?
