PLS HELP I BOUGHT HP PAVILION 5500U WITH WINDOW 8..

I DECIDED TO INSTALL WINDOW 7 SINCE I WAS UNABLE TO INSTALL SOME PROGRAMS ..

AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF ULTIMATE 64BIT ..

ETHERNET AND WIFI DRIVERS WASNT INSTALLED, I TRIED SEVERAL DRIVERS AND SEVERAL RESEACH BUT NO AVAIL ..PLS HELP SINCE I NEED THE WIFI TO CONNECT MY PRINTER ...

I INSTALL WINDOW 8 AGAIN , ETHERNET CAME BUT WIFI DRIVERS COULDNT ...PLS HELP ME

Hi:

I cannot find that model number.

Please post the product number so I can find the product information page for your model.

Then I will see what hardware it has and try and find where to get W7 drivers for the hardware your PC has.

The product number should be on the same sticker as the serial number.

YES PLS THE MODEL NUMBER I TRIED TO SEARCH FOR IT BUT IT WASNT WRITTEN AT THE BACK OF THE PC .I TYPE (MSINFO32) TO FIND THE MODEL NUMBER BUT I WAS SURPRISE I ONLY FIND ( HP PIVILION CORE 17 5500U ......

I SERIOUSLY IN TROUBLE BECAUSE I STALLED WINDOW 8 BACK BUT MY SISTER SAYS SHE WANTS WINDOW 7 AND EVEN WITH THE WINDOW 8 , THE WIFI...AND THE BLUETOOTH DRIVERS WASNT INSTALLED...IF I CAN GET THE DRIVERS FOR WINDOW 7 I WILL INSTALLED IT BACK.......BUT I HV TO FIND THE MODEL NUMBER FIRST

Well, without the model number there isn't much I can do.

I can give you the link to the wifi and bluetooth drivers if you do the following steps to post the hardware ID for the wireless card, so I can figure out what model wireless card the notebook has...

To find the hardware ID, go to the device manager and click on the device labeled Network Controller.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.

Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.

Drop down on that list and select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

Hi:

You should be able to use the W7 x64 drivers and software from the 17t-f000 except the BIOS and firmware files.

To install the graphics, you have to install the Intel chipset installation utility first and reboot.

Then install the Intel HD graphics driver and reboot.

Then install the Nvidia HD graphics driver and reboot.

You need these drivers for the wireless and bluetooth adapters based on the info you provided.

File name: sp69014.exe

Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Driver and Software

File name: sp66402.exe
