Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion 15-n205eb notebook with a AMD A6-5200 APU.

It comes standard with Windows 8.1, but I installed Windows 7 Home
Premium. But when I want to install the Catalyst drivers my HD8400
gets code 43 and my 8670M don't want to install. Can not find any
driver. HP laks the support for windows 7. Are there any solutions
kno with this problem or what can I do?

Thx

Hi:

Download, unzip and install the AMD beta driver from my Skydrive folder at the link below.  It is the first file listed on the upper left side of the page.

That should install the HD 8400.

Then to install the 8670M you need to do this...

Download, and unzip the same Beta file again.

Then download and install this free file utility.

http://7-zip.org/

After you install 7-zip right click on the unzipped beta driver and select the 7-zip file utility from the list of options.

Select it to extract the file to a folder. I elect it to extract it to the folder with the name of the Beta file so it is easy to find in the next step.

Now that you have unzipped the Beta exe into a folder, go to the device manager and click to expand the Display adapters category.  Click on the 8670M that needs the driver. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software and then on the bottom of that window, select the Let me choose from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Select Have Disk and browse to the folder 7-zip created\$_OUTDIR\Packages\Drivers\Display\WB6A_INF\CU165580 and select the AMD Radeon HD 8600M Series graphics adapter from the list and the driver should install.
