I have this laptop someone gave me and I don't know how that person managed to remove/corrupt bios from the laptop.

Its an i5 with Windows 8.

I've checked around with the local shops and they only option they give me is an expensive one (change motherboard). I live in Pakistan so I don't think there are any official HP outlets here that give support like the one I require.

Let me know if you guys can help out with the missing bios issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Not sure why my earlier response didn't get posted.

The issue is such that it doesn't loads anything on the screen. The only thing it does is blink the light on the Caps button. That's it!

I've tried the instructions you porvided but they didn't work!

Please advise something else.

Thanks
