Select Boot Device

Assuming this model shipped before Windows 8 was released, neither "Secure Boot" nor "Legacy Support" will appear on your BIOS. Depending on whether the boot media supports UEFI and/or Legacy boot, you will have the option to select the installation type. If you select a UEFI boot source, you will only be able to install Windows on a GPT partitioned disk. If you select a Legacy boot source, you will only be able to install Windows on a MBR partitioned disk.

There is no such thing as "format to UEFI mode." Hard drives can be partitioned as MBR or GPT but not UEFI. UEFI is just an extension of BIOS, more or less. UEFI allows you to boot from UEFI capable media and supports booting from hard drives larger than 2.2TB. Based on your computer's support page having downloads for ;

one could assume it supports UEFI.

I'm sorry about this inconvenience in communication language. My topic, it means, i wanna know about the UEFI Mode on my computer. But i don't know how to enable the UEFI Mode. Because i can't find it on my computer's bios. But i found my mainboard supported UEFI Mode. Does my computer can run in UEFI mode with gpt partition for windows 8 fastboot ?

Sorry, but your image is pending approval and may take several days to post.

You should be able to partition your hard drive as GPT. You should be able to boot a UEFI capable Windows installation medium and install Windows on the GPT partition. Your computer may not support "Secure Boot" and/or "Fast Boot".

Please post photos and/or a lists of the BIOS settings/options pages, so that we may assist you further.

Thanks! I have understood my problem. But in my BIOS setting don't have UEFI option. Does it mean my BIOS is dual Legacy and UEFI. Because when I convert my MBR hard disk to GPT hard disk, i can't use windows 8.1 DVD to install. The proble is: " windows cannot install on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT style. " I think i used wrong  UEFI capable Windows installation.

One more time. I've tried to convert my mbr hard disk to gpt hard disk. Everything is ok but i can't boot to my computer. And i found that my computer can't auto switch to uefi mode and it made a problem. But i can't switch to uefi mode manually because the bios don't have uefi mode option
