Hi there,

 

I have exactly the same problem.

The solution you gave us here worked perfectly for me, but, when I turned on my computer after tunring it off, my computer says that everything is working perfectly but no sound is coming out, and when I want to play a Windows Media file, it tells me "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file".

What can I do to fix this ?
