HP Pavilion ze2000
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I recently booted this laptop with Windows 7. The OS works fine and much better then when it was running windows XP. However, I'm having issues finding compatible drivers. Through another forum, I was able to get the sound driver working by using the Windows Vista version. Unfortunately, this did not work for any of the other drivers. If someone could give me the rest of the drivers or at least the LAN and Wireless drivers that would be great.

Hi:

What is the product number of your ze2000?

The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number.

I would need that in order to provide the correct graphics driver.

For the wireless driver, since there can be more than one model wlan card in your notebook, please do the following steps so I can figure out what model wireless network card your notebook has.

Go to the device manager and click on the device labeled Network Controller.  That is the generic name for the wireless card when there are no drivers installed.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the network controller window.

Now you will see a Property drop down list and it will be defaulted to Device Description.

Drop down on that list and select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.
