Hi everyone

 

I've just bought SSD but i want to use my default HDD too. Found following item but i am not sure if it is compatible with my laptop.

The slot is occupied with hp dvd a ds8a8sh drive at the moment.

The optical drive bay is a standard format & comes in two depth of 9.5mm or 12.7mm

You have 12.7mm ...

you  want sata to sata 12.7mm caddy as linked below

Have one myself with a 500gb drive & main bay has a 128gb ssd, works well on most laptops.

One in yourlink is crazy money, £10 tops, I buy locally in Asia boxed new for £4 ...

Well, you are right. I just coppied the link for referring item. i am not going to purchase it for that much high price.

 

As far as i understand my item is 12.5mm but you said that I need 12.7mm, right?
