HP ProBook 450 G3 - Screen Upgrade

I have just been given a HP ProBook 450 G3 Business Notebook 15.6" Intel i5-6200U, 8GB RAM,  1TB HDD, AMD Radeon R7 M340 2GB Graphics. It was thought that it had a 1920x1080 FHD display but turns out it only has the HD 1366x768 display.

Can this be upgraded?

If Yes, what is the part number that I need to order from HP to do so and approximitley how much would it cost?

It only has the following options:

35.6-cm (14.0-inch), LED backlight, 16:9 aspect ratio, HD eDP – flat
HD, anti-glare, 1366x768, 220 nits, 3.6 mm, 1 or 2 WLAN antennas
HD, anti-glare, 1366x768, 220 nits, 3.6 mm, 1 or 2 WLAN antennas, camera
HD, 1366x768, 3.6 mm, 1 or 2 WLAN antennas, camera, touch panel

FHD eDP – slim
FHD, anti-glare, 1600x900, 220 nits, 3.0 mm, 1 or 2 WLAN antennas
FHD, anti-glare, 1600x900, 220 nits, 3.0 mm, 1 or 2 WLAN antennas, camera

This is a VERY expensive upgrade just from 1366x768 to 1600x900.

You will need a different eDP cable because the one that comes with the 1366 X 768 Probook is only single lane and does not support FHD.   The cable kit from the 17" probook (part #  827031-001) will very likely work, but changing it will take many hours since you will need to completely dismantle your notebook to get at it.  If you are not comfortable taking apart notebooks, don't think about doing it.  The 17" cord is also a fair bit longer than the 15" and has both webcam and display cable.  You will need to take care in taping down/routing the extra slack behind the panel when reassembling

On this web page screen 1366x768 and FullHD screen are compatible for ProBook 450 G3. Is this mean, that you not need to change cable for upgrade to FHD ?

In ProBook 450 G3 LCD cable which support both HD and FHD screen has part number DD0X63LC030 and is included in cable kit part number 828418-001. Perhaps to decrease costs, in some ProBook 450 G3 laptops is used  lcd cable DD0X63LC300 for only HD screen. These laptops can not be upgraded to FHD without change the cable. And as mentioned above, this is not an easy job - dismount entire computer.

I'm having the same issue.

Just bought a compatible FHD screen

Turns out it wont light up.

My edp cable is DD0X63LC320, which when you make a google search it appears as a cross compatible cable with DD0X63LC030
DD0X63LC310 

What am I missing here?

Anyone succeded upgrading to FHD on Probook 450 G3???
