My Wifi on my laptop has stopped working.  When I go into connections available it is not seeing my home Wifi at all (which is definately working as I am posting this on the home wifi on a different laptop).

 

When I try troubleshoot the problem it says it couldn't identify the problem. Help anybody...

Hi Lance ,

 

First you must check , if your wifi card even work.

That you can check opening command prompt and typing msinfo32.exe , in the opening window check on a left side - hardware , network , can you see a card on a right side?

 

In that case you are facing wifi card failure. Here is the video how to replace it :

If you can see it , than you have driver problem , check please in device manager , what is the status of your wifi card , is there some sign on a driver?

If it is so , you need to reinstall driver.

 

If you did some instalation, and issue was after that change , you can thry sistem restore to a previous date.
