From the "menu" interface on our HP Procurve 2920-48G and 2920-24G we are not able to save any settings in the "Port/Trunk Settings" menu. Instead we get error message "Unable to save field". The problem was first observed with version WB.15.16.0006 but persists following an upgrade to WB.15.16.0008. Is this a known issue?

We can enable/disable port settings via the CLI using the "config interface" commands.

We can edit and save settings in other menus.

We can edit and save settings in "Port/Trunk Settings" on an HP Procurve 2920 running WB.15.11.0007.

Hi:

You may also want to post your question on the HP Business Support Forum -- Procurve Switches section.

I have the same problem with a Procurve 2920-48G-POE+ on revision firmware WB.15.16.0008.

Is there someone who can help me?

Just updated to K.15.16.0008 same problem, can't save Port/Trunk settings from menu.

The workaround for us was to change port/trunk settings from the CLI. Ultimately, we downgraded to WB.15.14.0009 as it seemed the last version where the Port/Trunk Settings menu interface worked. I also posted this issue to the "HP Business Support Form" in the "Procurve Switches" section where it was suggested the menu interface is no longer being developed.
