Hi, @iupton the issue is most likely a hardware challenge. I suggest you take it to a technician to have it repaired as soon as possible.

I tried but when I try go through tech support online it says no techs available and the despite me already being registered it keep asking me to sign in .. I wish HP would sort their systems out so they just worked.. It's ridiculous the amount of time I have to spend to simply to get my hardware fault sorted out.

Even though Im signed in and logged onto their support portal  It says

"Register your external account

Email ID not registered in the portal"

But Im signed and when I go to register it even acknowledges there is a duplicate account so how does that work??

Sooo frustrating.

Oh and forgot to add - as a small business customer I have an extended warranty and have purchased also another extended  HP care pack as  the one for this notebook runs out today.  The extended warranty ran up to today.

Hi, @iupton I see what you mean.

Okay at this point, take your laptop to a local computer repair shop to have it fixed by a technician.

Why should I pay for it when I have a care pack? Isnt that the whole point of an extended warranty?  otherwise what is the point of buying a warranty?

HP Recommended

Hi, @iupton if your warranty is still valid, then contact HP Support for further assistance. They will definitely help you out.

It isnt open today and warranty runs out today I have recorded a CRM so will it still be repaired under warranty? Or dont you know

HP Recommended

Since you have already done your part and your warranty is still valid, then be rest assured that all will be well. HP Support will reach out to you and assist you on this matter.

HP Recommended

Its only valid until today - it ends today so my question is tomorrow will they still honour the repair based on the fact I  reported it inside warranty.
