HP Spectre x360 - 15-bl112dx

Good morning,

I  have an HP Spectre x360 15-bl112dx running Windows 11 (installed 2-3 months ago)  that suddenly will not connect to already paired bluetooth devices. They've worked in the past and as recently as yesterday morning but now, no devices will connect. I've gone through all of the troubleshooting steps below and the problem persists. I've also confirmed that my bluetooth devices are not connected to my phone, watch, etc when trying to connect to the computer.

  • Turning bluetooth off then on
  • Unpairing and repairing (not able to pair after unpairing)
  • Updating drivers from the device manager (it said they were up to date, nothing new was installed)
  • Uninstalling the bluetooth driver and restarting the computer
    • I'm not sure I did this correctly. After the computer restarted bluetooth showed up in the device manager again without me having to install the driver.

In the device manager I have 4 options under bluetooth:

  • Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
  • Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)
  • Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
  • Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator

I'm not sure what the two enumerators are, but in some of the troubleshooting screenshots I came across, none of them seemed to have two different enumerators. Could that perhaps be causing an issue. I'm hesitant to uninstall one since I'm not sure which one might need to be removed.

Any help is much appreciated!

Steve
