Hi community,
I have a big issue with my HP Stream 11 after I did a Windows 10 upgrade.
It resulted in loss of wireless network, it doesn't show a wifi card in device manager, only bluetooth.
I tried installing drivers from the website and recovery in Windows 10, but no luck.
So now I'm stuck with a wifi only laptop (no ethernet port) that doesn't have wifi connectivity. 😞
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
cheers

The final solution just to let you know guys:
it was a hardware failure, my wifi card died on my HP Stream 11, HP replaced it and now I'm very happy.

Thank you for the effort, however this is not solved by simple driver reinstall I'm afraid...
The wireless adapter isn't shown in device manager, it is like it is phisicly not there, so therefore there is nothing to install, or reinstall, the installation of new drivers after unpacking simply stops...

have you a Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE wireless LAN Controller
the new driver is
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72517.exe
if it does not work
open the device manager then refresh device manager, windows will try and download an updated driver for the from windows update
Do you have an internet security installed?
Which
Have you ever made a BIOS update?

Yep, that is the driver I already tried to install, but after unpack it hangs/stops silently...
When I refresh device manager, it doesn't show anything besides bluetooth device, and since I have no connectivity to internet, windows can't search and download the driver...
No antivirus installed, it is a clean install of windows 10 after system recovery.
