I have been dealing with this since I bought an HP Stream 11 a year ago. Now the Windows Updates have become so huge it has become impossible to tweak out any more space. My solution last week was to buy a real laptop from another company and turn the Stream into a Linux computer.

UPDATE:. By using the Media Creation tool, I was able to upgrade my HP Stream 11 with Win10 64bit Home to the Creators Update, actually gaining 1GB of free space to 6GB total.

Look into the 'C:\Windows\Installer' folder for the '.MSI' and '.MSP' files.

These are Windows Updates that have already been installed.

If you never intend to use Windows Update to "uninstall" any updates, these files can be deleted.

On my Windows 7 system, I see over 3GB that can be deleted:     295 Files     3,656,007,431 bytes

So, if the amount of "free" disk-space on your 'C:' drive is "criticallly-low", delete those files.
