Stream pc 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In an attemtp to factory reset my stream 13 the system errored out halfway through and will no longer boot.  It comes up to the HP logo and then resets.  I have tried booting into recovery using f11 and attempting several resets and repairs and nothing seem to be working.  I noticed that when i try and restore from a system image nothing is displayed so im assuming the recovery partion has been deleted or is corrupt.

A recovery disk was not created so im sort of stuck with a brick at this point.  I went to the support site to order a recovery disk and HP apparently does not offer one for this pc that was purchased less than a year ago.....

Does anyone know how to possibly restore windows back to this pc or where i can download a recovery disk?

Can i find another stream, create a recovery disk from it and then use on this one?

Thank you for any help offered.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sorry, but there is nowhere you can download an image to make a recovery disk set for your PC.

Since HP no longer provides Recovery Media for your model, a couple of other sites you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Also, if this PC did not (as I suspect) come with Win10 preinstalled, that means any recovery media is going to reset it back to the original OS it came with.

If you then want to have Win10 back on it, you will have to create install media using this link and redo the Upgrade:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10

Good Luck
